Nick first joined Brasted’s as a part time waiter at the tender age of 21, whilst studying a BSc in Business Management at UEA and a BA in Hospitality at Norwich City College. After working in some of London’s finest Hotels & Restaurants including the Royal Court Hotel, Sloane Square, The Capital Hotel & La Gavroche. In 1994 Nick was made General Manager, and in 2000 Managing Director. Nick has always had a huge passion for food, wine and all things ‘industry’ this coupled with his position within Brasted’s has enabled Nick to push the company forward in its approach to business, as well as establishing Brasted’s as one of the finest and most sought after Caterers and Restaurants in the County.
In 1997 Michael graduated from Norwich City College with a BA Honours degree in Hospitality Management. He subsequently joined The Norfolk Mead Hotel, where after 3 months was promoted to General Manager. Michael then went on to spend four and a half years working for The Animal Inns Group, managing both The Mad Moose & The Wildebeest Arms. After leaving Animal Inns, Michael along with his partner set up a Pub/Restaurant (The Arc, Banham) specialising in Greek Food. Finally in September 2005 he joined Brasted’s on a six week contract, He was offered the position of General Manager and in October 2008 became a Director alongside Nick & Chris.
Chris ‘Buzz’ Busby was first employed by Brasteds in 1996 as Sous Chef. Buzz’s passion for orderly neatness coupled with his inbuilt flavour senses and food artistry quickly saw him promoted to Head Chef at the age of 29. In 1998 Chris left Brasted’s to pursue a career as a freelance Chef, but returned to Brasted’s as Head Chef in September 2002. In October 2008 he became a Director alongside Nick & Michael.
